What is Meditation?
With countless physical, mental, emotional, & spiritual benefits, this unique Meditation program is what sets our studio apart. Meditation runs in cycles throughout the year, offering classes every day for a period of 40 days. Each cycle and meditation is consciously chosen for a specific purpose. By practicing only 20 minutes of meditation a day over a 40 day period, deep transformation can happen.
Not only does meditation reduce your daily stress and anxiety, it helps create real and lasting change in your life. Discover this opportunity to heal your body, dissolve emotional blocks, access your higher mind, and reconnect with your best self.
Each Meditation session begins with a three minute warm-up of simple spinal and arm stretches. Students are then guided through how to sit, where place their hands, and the mantra that will be practiced for that mediation. Several meditations will be chosen throughout the year, but only one will be practiced for each meditation cycle.
Why are the cycles 40 days?
We practice for 40 days to create lasting change, replacing thought patterns that do not serve you with more peaceful, contented thoughts. Meditation is a wonderful way to start the day or end a hectic one. By engaging in a daily meditation, stress can be managed more effortlessly, allowing for a greater sense of ease.
Why meditate in a group?
When meditation is practiced in a group, a broader energy field is created for the benefit of everyone.
